Galeam Crianza 2018 is a red wine from the Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.P.) Alicante, created by Bodegas Murviedro. With a traditional vinification process, the wine is fermented for 12 days at a controlled temperature of 26ºC. It then matures in American oak barrels for a minimum of 6 months, resulting in a good integration of wood and complexity in its aromas. In tasting, it stands out for its dark red color with brick reflections, its intense and elegant aroma, as well as a full-bodied flavor with a smooth and prolonged finish. Galeam, which means “Helmet” in Latin, symbolizes the protection of a people against adversities, reflecting the tradition and effort to preserve their wine-growing territory for future generations. Its versatility makes it perfect to accompany a variety of dishes, especially meats and aged cheeses.
