Hacienda Solano Cascorrales 2015 is a red wine of D.O. C Ribera del Duero elaborated with grape 100% of the country BY Bodega Hacienda Solano, a small family winery in which all the production comes only from own vineyards.
The grapes come from their own vineyards in La Aguiler (Burgos). Plot of Cascorrales of 115 years old, whose vineyard is planted in glass with very low yields.
The harvest is done by hand and collected in small boxes of 15 kg. Destemming without squeezing. Made in small stainless steel tanks with pigeages.
Hacienda Solano Cascorrales is aged for 16 months in new French oak casks. No cold stabilization. Bottling in April 2011.
Elaboration of 1028 bottles of 750 ml.
Hacienda Solano Cascorrales is bright purplish red, high layer.
Intense and complex nose with ripe black fruit, spices, present and elegant oak.
Powerful and structured wine with fruity aromas of blackberry and roasted. Good balance, silky tannins, long persistence in the mouth.
