Hacienda Solano Peña Lobera is a red wine of D.O. C Ribera del Duero elaborated 100% with ink from the country BY Bodega Hacienda Solano, a small family winery in which all the production comes only from own vineyards.
Grape 100% Tinta of the country. Vines in glass with very low yields. Soil: calcareous rock at shallow depth and clay to the surface.
Harvest by hand and collected in small boxes of 15 kg. Destemming without squeezing. Made in a small stainless steel tank with pigeages.
Hacienda Solano Peña Lobera is aged for 16 months in new French oak casks. No cold stabilization.
Hacienda Solano Peña Lobera is garnet red, high layer.
Intense and delicate wine in the nose with aromas of black fruits, spices (black pepper) and aromas of the oak (toasted, vanilla).
Complex and structured in the mouth. Good balance, velvety tannins, unctuous texture. Long aftertaste.
