Hacienda Solano Selección is a red wine of the D.O.C. Ribera del Duero elaborated 100% grape Tinta of the country elaborated BY Bodega Hacienda Solano. A small family winery in which all the production that comes to the market comes exclusively from own plantations. In all cases these are plots planted in some cases more than a century ago, with a defendant smallholding and with few possibilities of mechanization. The fundamental work is still being done by hand.
The grape comes from a selection of grapes produced in ocho hectares of young vines in La Aguilera, owned by the family, located in the payments of Cascorrales, the pit of the grandmother or Sotillejo.
After the vinification process, the broth remains 7 months in barrels of 1 and 2 years of French and American oak.
Hacienda Solano selection is a cherry red color with violet edges, high and shiny layer.
Intense nose and fruity (blackberry and other fruit of the forest) with hints of black pepper and licorice.
Soft mouth attack, balanced and fresh wine with well-integrated wood. Good persistence.
