Hacienda Solano Viñas Viejas is an exceptional red wine from the Denomination of Origin (D.O.C) Ribera del Duero, made entirely from Tinta del País grapes by Bodega Hacienda Solano. This winery represents viticultural tradition, being a small family winery dedicated exclusively to the production of wine from its own vineyards. Many of its plots are over 100 years old, which adds unique character and richness to its wines. The grapes for this wine come from vineyards in La Aguilera, over eighty years old. The production process is carried out by hand, allowing special care in each stage of production. This wine has aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, giving it a solid structure and complex aromatic profile. In tasting, Hacienda Solano Viñas Viejas shows a bright cherry red color, with violet edges and high density. On the nose, intense and complex aromas of fresh fruit can be perceived, accompanied by elegant oak notes. On the palate, it offers good structure and balance, with flavors of blackberry and toasted nuances. Its tannins are mature, resulting in a long persistence on the palate. It is an ideal choice to accompany red meats or stews.
