Heraclio Alfaro Red wine, made from manually selected grapes, reflects a careful production process. With 12 months of aging in oak barrels, it stands out for its complexity and balance on the palate, making it an ideal choice for wine enthusiasts.
Heraclio Alfaro Red is a wine that represents tradition and care in its production. The harvest is done manually in 18 kg boxes, ensuring only the best quality clusters are selected before being destemmed. The whole grape is placed, without crushing, in fermentation tanks where its integrity is preserved throughout the process. Fermentation occurs at 25ºC for 20 days, with light pump-overs to ensure selective extraction that preserves the wine's rich fruit.
After this process, the wine undergoes aging in oak barrels for 12 months. This period adds notable complexity, a delicate tannin contribution, and a moderate presence of wood, which are harmoniously integrated. On tasting, it presents an intense color and an elegant nose, featuring notes of ripe black fruits, red fruit jam, and spices, complemented by a long finish. This wine is an excellent option for pairing with meals as well as for enjoying during relaxation.
