Jesús Madrazo Selección Ribera del Duero is a prominent red wine from the renowned D.O. Ribera del Duero, made by Jesús Madrazo. This wine is primarily composed of Tempranillo (92%) with a touch of Garnacha (8%), giving it a unique and distinctive profile. The vinification occurs at the recently inaugurated Bodega Territorio Luthier, where cement tanks are used and biodynamic vineyards with over 50 years of history in Aranda and Zazuar are employed.
The fermentation process takes place in stainless steel tanks and used oak barrels, allowing the wine to acquire interesting complexity. After fermentation, the wine undergoes 18 months of aging in oak barrels, clarified with egg whites from organic farms, enhancing its purity and elegance.
In tasting, it shows a garnet red color with a medium-high layer and violet edge. On the nose, balsamic aromas, mineral notes, black and red fruits, spices, and a hint of cocoa are appreciated. On the palate, its softness and delicacy transform into an explosion of floral flavors, coffee, liqueur fruit, tobacco, and black licorice. The tannins are sweet and balanced, offering an exceptional tasting experience.
