The Júlia Bernet project was founded by Xavier Bernet in 2001, who aimed to provide a new approach to family tradition by creating quality sparkling wines instead of merely selling grapes from his family vineyards in Subirats, Barcelona. The production process is meticulous; the harvest is done by hand, blending young vineyards with older vines, which contributes to a range of complex flavors. Once at the winery, the grapes are pressed whole; the first free-run juice is discarded to ensure the maximum quality of the must.
