La Gabacha is an exceptional white wine created by Casa Rojo, using exclusively Sauvignon blanc grapes from the prestigious Rueda Designation of Origin. The 2024 vintage has been rated as excellent due to favorable climatic conditions, with sufficient rain and heat to ensure optimal ripening. The vineyard, planted in 1985, serves as an ecological enclave producing 6,000 kilos per hectare at an altitude of 800 meters near the Duero River. The vinification includes controlled fermentation at low temperatures to preserve the natural aromas of the varietal, followed by 5 months of aging on fine lees. The wine presents a straw-yellow color with golden highlights. On the nose, it shows an intense blend of fruity notes like apricot and peach, with citrus and herbal hints. In the mouth, it is dry, with refreshing acidity, elegant and slightly nervous, ideal for appetizers and seafood.
