This wine is a blend of the traditional Garnacha Tinta and Cariñena varieties, sourced from old vineyards located in the town of Porrera, a historic village in Priorat. The 2021 vintage stands out for its freshness and authenticity, the result of fermentation in cement tanks with native yeasts and aging for 10-12 months in the same tanks, without oak aging.
Appearance: It presents a bright, intense cherry color with a violet rim, forming tears that tint the glass.
Nose: It offers an expressive and authentic nose, with pure ripe fruit, notes of Mediterranean herbs, and hints of India ink, charcoal, and licorice. A metallic mineral background and subtle spicy notes are perceived.
Taste: The palate is direct and eloquent, with vertical acidity, quality tannins, and excellent definition. The finish is long and mineral, with balsamic notes and exquisite notes of berries.
