Hacienda López de Haro 30 Barricas is an exclusive red wine from D.O.C. Rioja, produced by Bodega Classica. With a limited production of only 12,200 bottles, this wine stands out for its modern style and meticulous artisanal production. It is made from a careful selection of Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes, which are fermented and aged for over 30 months in new French oak barrels. This process includes quarterly racking, essential for keeping the wine clean and preserving its natural characteristics while avoiding aggressive filtration methods. Subsequently, the wine continues to age for at least three years in bottle, allowing it to round out before hitting the market. The tasting note reveals a wine with high density and an intense cherry-red color. On the nose, complex aromas of ripe black fruits are fused with roasted hints from the barrel, adding spices and cocoa. On the palate, the wine appears full and robust, while being elegant and fleshy, with ripe tannins leaving a flavorful memory on the palate.
