Minami II is a red wine from Casa Rojo winery, made from Monastrell and Garnacha varieties, sourced from vineyards located in El Valle de La Raja, specifically from two different areas. Garnacha is grown in an area called La Atalaya, a young plot of seven years, while Monastrell comes from older vineyards, highlighting the diversity and richness of the region. The vinification of Minami II follows a careful process: the grapes are fermented separately in 11,000-liter foudres and stainless steel tanks. Afterwards, part of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in the same facilities. Approximately 30% of this wine matures for around 12 months in French oak barrels. The result is an intense wine, deep red in color with fruity notes, both red and black, accompanied by balsamic and spicy touches. On the palate, Minami II is expressive, with excellent balance and a lingering finish that evokes ripe fruit and spices, making for a complete sensory experience.
