The Moscatel Jorge Ordóñez Nº 1 Selection 2018 redefines viticulture in the Axarquía region of Malaga. Produced by Bodegas Jorge Ordóñez & Co., this wine arises from the collaboration between Jorge Ordóñez and Gerhard Kracher, using Moscato de Alejandría grapes from centennial vineyards. Grown on steep slate slopes, the wine is a product of late harvest that concentrates sugars and acidity from the grapes. Natural fermentation is halted to balance at 10.5% alcohol and 140 grams of residual sugar per liter, without adding wine alcohol. The wine is creamy, with a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness, offering lasting citrus and floral flavors. It presents a straw-yellow color with greenish highlights and aromas of fresh fruit, orange blossom, and spices. Perfect to pair with foie gras or blue cheeses at a temperature of 6°C to 8°C.
