Sericis Cepas Viejas Monastrell is a wine of the D.O.P. Alicante produced by Bodegas Murviedro. Harvested by hand. Destemming and gentle crushing of the grapes. Prefermentative maceration at low temperature for 3-4 days, addition of selected yeasts controlling the fermentation at 26ºC maximum temperature. Devatting after 21 days maceration. Aged for a minimum of 12 months in French oak barrels.

Finca el Serrano is a red wine from Alicante P.D.O. made from 100% Monastrell grapes by Murviedro. Finca El Serrano is a plot located in the highest part of an estate within the Protected Designation of Origin Alicante. The white limestone soil in this area reflects the sun's rays on the lower part of the plants, which contributes to balanced fruits and fresh wines.

De Nariz Coupage Monastrell Syrah is a red wine from the D.O. Yecla made with Monastrell and Syrah by Bodega De Nariz. This wine is made with 60% Monastrell and 40% Syrah, it is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels of third use. Two plots of Monastrell grapes of different orientations and ages assembled and one plot of Syrah, from the area of Campo Arriba, at an altitude of 420 metres above sea level.

Tasting notes

Sericis Cepas Viejas Monastrell is deep red in colour with purple tones. Aroma of high intensity, highlighting the very ripe fruit on a background of toasted oak of great elegance. Meaty, complex, with an unctuous palate, balanced tannins and a roasted finish.
