This wine is a monovarietal ink of the country (100%). As for the elaboration, after the Harvest Manual and selected, Protos Oak makes a brief crianza of 6 months in American oak barrels to finish its tuning in bottle for 6 months more before its commercialization. This brief step by Wood endows this wine with a cheerful and very pleasant character.
Protos Oak is cherry colour with ruby edging. Very clean and shiny. Fine quick-fall tear.
Direct nose, medium intensity with aromas of fresh red fruit accompanied by subtle spices and a pleasant bottom of toast.
After a good entrance, it describes a tasty and silky tour. Good fruit load with very present Avainilladas notes. Nice and soft tannins. Good structure. Good ending with not very long persistence. Nicely toasted in retronasal.
