Terraces Single Vineyard The floodgates 2010 is a red wine made in Argentina by the winery Terrazas de los Andes. Elaborated in the vineyard "Las floodgates" in the region of Mendoza, Argentina, at 1067 meters above sea level.
The Harvest 2010, thanks to the general climatic conditions, was presented for all varieties, with very good setting in spring. This induced, in the months of December and January to make strong thinning to achieve the required levels of concentration.
The season continued with moderate temperatures, scarce hail storms but with the presence of heavy rains that slowed down a week the entrance of the grapes.
In this harvest, Malbec framed its character as black fruit, intensity and concentration.
Single Vineyard Terraces The floodgates are vivacious red with intense violet hues. Great aromatic concentration, notes of plum, blackberry and black cherry. Subtle notes of anise and licorice along with smoky nuances, define their great complexity. Ample, of great persistence and silkiness.
