Ysios Blanco 2019 is an excellent wine from the Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja, made from Viura grapes sourced from old plots in the Rioja Alavesa region. This wine stands out for its production method, which includes meticulous manual harvesting, followed by fermentation and aging for nine months on fine lees. During this process, the must also undergoes a brief cold maceration. The aging in various formats, such as barrels, tanks, concrete, and amphorae, contributes to the wine's complexity and texture, all without sacrificing its freshness and balance.
