Ysios Blanco is part of the D.O.Ca. Rioja, made with Viura grapes from old vineyards in Rioja Alavesa.
The grapes are harvested by hand and the must ferments and ages for nine months on its fine lees after a brief cold maceration. Its aging in various formats (barrels, tanks, concrete, and amphorae) gives it complexity and texture without sacrificing freshness or balance.
It has a bright straw yellow color with golden hues. The nose is intensely aromatic, marked by delicate floral aromas and notes of white fruit such as apple and pear, accompanied by light citrus touches of orange and tangerine peel and soft toasted notes from the aging process.
