Amaren Crianza is a red wine made from a careful blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Garnacha, created in 1995 as a tribute to Angeles, mother of winemaker Juan Luis Cañas. This wine stands out for its elegance and balance due to a meticulous process that includes hand harvesting and strict selection of the best grapes. After production, the wine rests for 12 months in barrels, imparting deep and complex flavors. In tasting, Amaren Crianza exhibits a well-covered cherry red color and an intense nose with creamy notes and hints of ripe red fruit, alongside touches of cedar wood and leaf litter. On the palate, it is powerful yet balanced, showcasing a finish that highlights red fruit notes. It pairs perfectly with aged cheeses, cold cuts, and stewed lamb. It is recommended to enjoy it at a temperature between 16 and 18°C to enhance its character and complexity.
