The Oremus Mandolás 2023 is a dry white wine from one of the world’s prestigious wine regions, Tokaj. Exclusively crafted by the Oremus winery of Tempos Vega Sicilia, this wine is produced from the Furmint variety, known for growing in the volcanic soils characteristic of the region. The vineyards are on average 25 years old, and hand-picked. The Mandolás ferments in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, preserving the freshness of the fruit while adding volume and complexity. Aging for 3 months in Hungarian oak barrels integrates these elements without masking its mineral personality. It has a pale yellow color with green reflections and aromas of white fruit, citrus, and floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, with marked acidity and a delicate creamy texture. It pairs ideally with fish, seafood, rice, poultry, and Asian cuisine. Its alcohol content is 13.5% and has received high ratings from wine experts.
