Born and raised between Riola and Corbera, tired of my previous profession, much more insane and stressful than agriculture, taking advantage of the fact that my family has always had orange groves, now, in my forties and watching those wonderful ones dry trees, I have decided to change my life and return to the village.
After asking the most veteran for advice and after seeing the state of neglect of the land, the vast majority advised me to pluck the orange trees and start from scratch. However, a part of me does not allow such sacrilege and I began to recover all those who were still alive.
My goal is to be able to recover one of the eight hectares of land each year with my own hands. The hours invested are incalculable, but more incalculable is the satisfaction of seeing them reborn. Although there is still a lot of work to do, the road ahead is long and the effort is paying off (pun intended).
I hope that with passion and effort I can contribute to save this fruit, so beneficial and typical of our land, which has unfortunately fallen into decline in recent times.
