This red wine, Albada Garnacha Viñas Viejas, is made 100% from Garnacha grapes sourced from selected old vines over 50 years old. Its aging for 8 months in new American oak barrels and 1 additional year in American oak adds complexity and character to the wine. It presents an intense cherry-red color with violet highlights, and on the nose, it offers high varietal expression, showcasing aromas of red berries and spicy notes intertwined with hints of vanilla and leather from its barrel aging. It is a structured and glycerin-rich wine, ideal for pairing with game dishes, red meats, roasts, and stews, served at a temperature of 15-16ºC. Produced by Bodegas Virgen de la Sierra in Villarroya de la Sierra, Zaragoza, this wine has the Denomination of Origin Calatayud.
