Cuatro Pasos Black is an exceptional red wine made from 100% Mencía grapes, a flagship of the D.O. Bierzo. This wine comes from vineyards over 80 years old that contribute a distinctive and deep character. The production process includes fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 7 days, followed by a prolonged maceration of 25 days with its skins. This traditional method maximizes the extraction of aromas and flavors from the grapes. Subsequently, the wine ages for 8 months in new American oak barrels, adding subtle notes of wood and complexity.
