Casal de Armán Blanco is a white wine produced by Bodegas Casal de Armán in the D.O. Ribeiro, Galicia, from grapes grown in vineyards in the Valle del Avia. Its production combines three native varieties: Treixadura, Godello and Albariño, with Treixadura playing the leading role, one of the most representative grapes of Ribeiro. The winery aims to respect the character of each variety and express the identity of the territory. Aging on lees adds texture and complexity, while preserving the wine’s fresh and fruity character and giving a pleasant sense of volume on the palate. On the nose it shows aromas of white and stone fruit, accompanied by delicate floral notes and herbal hints, especially fennel. On the palate it is fresh, elegant and enveloping, with balanced acidity that brings vivacity. The finish is long, persistent and slightly bitter, characteristic of Treixadura. A food-friendly white that combines tradition and modernity and reflects the personality of the vineyards of Ribeiro and the native Galician grape varieties.
