Crystal Head Vodka is a premium Canadian vodka created in 2008 by actor Dan Aykroyd and artist John Alexander. Its iconic transparent skull-shaped glass bottle gives it a distinctive look, whether enjoyed yourself or given as a gift. The Original version is made from selected Canadian corn and is distilled four times to obtain a neutral grain spirit. It is then blended with highly pure water from Newfoundland, Canada, and passes through seven filtration stages. Three of these are carried out through quartz crystals known as Herkimer diamonds. No sugars, oils or other additives intended to alter the flavour are used in its production. Crystal clear in appearance, it offers clean grain aromas with a delicate citrus touch. On the palate it has a silky texture, a slight sweetness and notes of vanilla, followed by a smooth, creamy finish. It can be enjoyed neat, well chilled, or used as a base for classic cocktails such as the Martini, Vodka Tonic or Moscow Mule.
