This red wine belongs to the 2021 vintage and reflects the care in its production and the exceptional terroir of Ribera del Duero. This wine is a blend of Tempranillo and Merlot, varieties that reach their maximum expression at this extreme altitude. Vinification of Bosque de Matasnos includes cold maceration with skins and malolactic fermentation in new barrels, followed by 12 months aging mainly in French oak barrels. Its intense cherry red color with ruby highlights stands out in the glass, evidencing deep maceration and concentration. On the nose, it presents aromas of ripe red fruit, notes of vanilla, and spices, courtesy of its careful aging. On the palate, it combines a sweet and warm entry with elegant tannins, leaving a long and persistent finish.
