Flor de Xarel·lo is an organic single-varietal white wine that represents the highest expression of the native grape par excellence from Penedès. For its production, Juvé & Camps uses only the free-run juice (the highest quality, obtained by gravity without mechanical pressure), fermented in stainless steel tanks to keep its essence intact.
After a brief resting period on the lees, the wine shows in the glass with a pale yellow color and bright reflections. On the nose, it is 100% varietal: notes of fresh white fruit (pear, green apple), hints of fennel, anise, and a background of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it surprises with its balance; it has the body and the natural structure of Xarel·lo but with vibrant acidity and a mineral and seductive finish. It is the perfect companion for sushi, seafood, fresh cheeses, and steamed white fish.
