Maca is a herbaceous plant native to Peru. It is cultivated both for its nutritional qualities and for the supposed invigorating characteristics of its roots. The root resembles a large radish and, once dehydrated and ground, it provides a pleasant flavor.

It can be used as an ingredient in a stew or simply as a natural food supplement added to your cereals, juice, etc.
