Aalto Blanco de Parcela 2024 represents a new direction in Spanish white wines under the guidance of the renowned winemaker Mariano García. This IGP Castilla y León wine comes from the famous Fuente de las Hontanillas vineyard, defined by its extreme altitude and limestone soils that impart freshness and precision to the grapes. Mainly made from Verdejo, it incorporates small amounts of Godello and Albillo Mayor, adding greater complexity. Its winemaking process includes fermentation followed by aging for about a year in French oak barrels and butts, with lees work that adds complexity and volume. Aromas of pear, red apple, and peach combine with citrus and mineral notes, while the creamy texture and vibrant acidity create an experience of elegance and prolonged freshness. With a remarkable capacity for evolution in the bottle, this wine carefully integrates wood to enhance its identity without masking it.
