Albamar Pai grapes come from 5 small plots of about 25 years old on sandy soils, located at the confluence of the Umia river with the sea.

Albamar is a family winery that began its journey approximately 25 years ago linked to the care of the vineyards and the production of Albariños with a unique character and special personality. In 2006 one of the sons of the family took over the reins of the winery; Xurxo Alba Padín dedicated body and soul to winemaking. From this moment the business is baptized with the name of Bodegas Albamar, a fusion of the family name and the proximity of its vineyards to the sea, and is integrated in turn in the Designation of Origin Rías Baixas, Subzone of O Salnés.
