Allende Blanco 2018 is a white wine from D.O.Ca. Rioja made by Finca Allende , the winery founded by winemaker Miguel Ángel de Gregorio in Briones, in the heart of Rioja Alta. This wine is made mainly from Viura (95%) and a small percentage of Malvasia , sourced from sustainably farmed old vineyards over 50 years old. After the manual harvest, the wine is fermented in new French oak barrels and aged for approximately 14 months on the lees , which provides complexity, structure and great cellaring capacity.

In the glass it has a bright golden yellow color. The nose is elegant and complex, with aromas of grapefruit, stone fruits such as peach and plum, and delicate balsamic and mineral nuances. The palate is ample, unctuous and very balanced , with great volume, well-integrated freshness and a long, persistent finish that reflects the character of the Rioja terroir.

Thanks to its structure and elegance, it is an ideal gastronomic white wine to accompany baked fish, seafood, rice, white meats or Mediterranean dishes. The Magnum format (1.5 L) also allows for a slower evolution in the bottle, enhancing its complexity and making it an excellent choice for sharing on special occasions.
