Montecillo Garnacha Blanca 2022 is a white wine from the DOCa Rioja made by Bodegas Montecillo from 100% Garnacha Blanca , a minority variety within the appellation but capable of offering wines with great personality. It comes from selected vineyards in Rioja, where this grape develops an elegant aromatic profile and a good structure in the mouth.
After fermentation, the wine is partially aged in wood to provide complexity and volume without hiding the varietal character. The result is a balanced white that combines freshness with a more ample and gastronomic texture.
The nose presents aromas of baked apple, stone fruit and floral notes , accompanied by hints of vanilla and toast from the aging. The palate is ample and silky, with good acidity and a lingering finish where notes of white fruit and mild spices reappear.
