Arnaud Baillot Bourgogne Côte d'Or Pinot Noir 2023 is a red wine from Burgundy (France) made by Arnaud Baillot , a producer located near Beaune , in the heart of the Côte d'Or. It is produced with 100% Pinot Noir from selected plots in the region, planted on clay-limestone soils , very characteristic of the Burgundian terroir.
The grapes are harvested by hand and vinification is carried out in small tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit. The wine is then aged for a brief period of about 8-10 months in French oak vats and barrels , which adds complexity without hiding the fresh character of the variety.
The nose shows aromas of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry , accompanied by floral notes, light spicy nuances and a subtly earthy background. The palate is juicy and balanced , medium-bodied, with soft tannins, good acidity and a fresh and elegant finish, very representative of the classic Burgundy Pinot Noir style.
