Queen of Wishes 2024 is an exclusive creation of the Uvas Felices project, birthed in the Sierra de Gredos. It comes from a tiny old Garnacha vineyard located in Cadalso de los Vidrios. The altitude, granitic soils, and minimal intervention winemaking result in a wine that prioritizes elegance and the expression of the landscape over power. On the nose, it showcases violets, sour cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate, accompanied by wild herbs, citrus peel, dried flowers, and black pepper, over a delicate mineral background. On the palate, it feels ethereal and silky, with finest tannins and vibrant acidity. Its finish is very long, bringing back red fruit, balsamic memories, and granitic minerality. Its fine, floral, and elegant profile allows it to pair well with duck magret, game birds, mushrooms, Mediterranean dishes, white meats, and aged cheeses.
