The Artuke Finca de los Locos 2023 is a flagship vineyard wine from Rioja Alavesa, made in Peñaescalera, a historic vineyard on a terrace of the Ebro River. The sandy and calcareous soils contribute to its distinctive personality. The elaboration follows a respectful philosophy, using native yeasts and aging in a 3,500-liter fudre to subtly integrate the wood. The result is a refined and deep red wine with great aging potential. Aromas of cherry, plum, blackberry, and blueberry, along with notes of violets, rosemary, and licorice, are accompanied by a silky and balanced texture on the palate.
