Ausàs Interpretation 2021 is the pinnacle of Xavier Ausàs' approach in Ribera del Duero. Drawing from his experience at Vega Sicilia, Ausàs has crafted a wine that captures the diversity of this wine region. It is produced exclusively from Tinto Fino vines over 40 years old, located in calcareous soils at high altitudes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and concrete tanks using native yeasts. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels and foudres, the wine preserves the purity and identity of the fruit. It presents aromas of blackberry, cherry, black plum, and spicy notes, along with an elegant and prolonged finish. This wine combines power, freshness, and a remarkable capacity to evolve in the bottle.
