Blas Muñoz Chardonnay 2025 Magnum. 150 centilitres (1.5L). This white wine from Viñedos y Bodegas Muñoz is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in the vineyards of Noblejas (Toledo), in Castilla-La Mancha. Its profile combines maturity, freshness and structure, with the character of an oak-aged white wine. After cold maceration, the must ferments mainly in new American oak barrels and partly French oak. It then remains for around 6 months on its lees, adding volume, complexity and a creamy texture, balancing fruit and wood. On the nose appear peach, apricot, ripe pineapple and white fruit, along with butter, vanilla, pastry and toasted, smoky notes. On the palate it is broad, glyceric and enveloping, with good acidity, length and an oak-driven finish. The Magnum 1.5L format encourages a slower, more harmonious evolution, with potential to gain complexity and finesse over time. It pairs with prepared fish, seafood, creamy rice dishes and roasted white meats.
