The name of this wine comes from the best vineyard in the village of Tolesva. Originally, Petrács was the name of the owner of the plot who also named the vineyard after it.The Oremus winery has always sought out the best plots to produce its dry wine , the personality of this vineyard revealed itself to Oremus. The soil contains abundant semi-precious gems that bring a great minerality to the wine. On the other hand, this vineyard is home to the oldest vines , with 60 years of goblet-trained vines and a high planting density. Due to these conditions, only humans and horses can work this vineyard. The clusters are harvested by hand and then lightly pressed. Fermentation takes place in French and Hungarian oak barrels. The wine is aged in oak barrels for at least three months, stirring the lees every week to remain in peace for 5 months. The process continues by transferring the wine to stainless steel tanks for six months until the final bottling in February.This Petracs Furmint is a spicy and forceful wine in which the mineral flavor is perceived in a pure and crystalline way. Deep and long , it compresses in the mouth in a concentrated and saline way.
