Brandy Cánister 70 cl Luis Felipe is a Spanish brandy produced by Bodegas Rubioin La Palma del Condado (Huelva). Its origin dates back to the end of the 19th century, when ancient soleras reserved for the Duke of Montpensier, son of King Louis Philippe I of France, were discovered. It is currently produced following traditional methods and is presented in an elegant 70 cl bottle accompanied by its characteristic metallic case.
The brandy is aged using the traditional system of criaderas and soleras in American oak casks , previously bottled with Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez wines, which gives it great aromatic complexity and a smooth, balanced profile. This slow aging process contributes to the development of its deep character and remarkable richness in nuances.
In the glass it has a dark mahogany color with amber highlights. The nose offers elegant aromas of vanilla, aged oak and dried fruits , with delicate hints of aging. On the palate it is smooth, round and lightly fizzy , with a balance between sweet notes and a subtle bitter touch that leaves a long and pleasant finish. An ideal brandy to enjoy on its own, as an after-dinner drink, or with dark chocolate, desserts or cigars.
