Celler Kripta Rosat Trepat 2022 is a sparkling rosé made by Agustí Torelló Mata in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, in the heart of the Penedès. It is produced with 100% Trepat , an indigenous red variety from the south of Catalonia that brings freshness, aromatic delicacy and a very unique character to the rosé sparkling wines of the area.
The elaboration follows the traditional method of secondary fermentation in the bottle , with manual harvest and fermentation of the base wine at controlled temperature. The wine is then aged for around 24 months on its lees , which provides greater complexity, fine bubbles and a creamier texture.
The nose is fresh and expressive, with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and wild red fruits , accompanied by delicate floral nuances and a light herbaceous background. The palate is balanced and lively, with good acidity, fine bubbles and a fresh finish dominated by red fruit notes. A very gastronomic rosé sparkling wine, ideal to accompany appetizers, seafood, rice, white meats or Mediterranean dishes.
