Champagne Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is the most emblematic champagne of the historic Maison Veuve Clicquot , founded in Reims in 1772. This brut is made from a blend dominated by Pinot Noir , accompanied by Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier , from different crus of the Champagne region. The blend also includes a significant proportion of reserve wines that add complexity and maintain the constant style of the house.
After the second fermentation in bottle, the wine is aged for at least three years on its lees , developing greater aromatic depth and a fine, elegant bubble. This process results in a balanced, structured champagne with great character.
The nose is expressive and elegant, with aromas of white and stone fruit, citrus notes and delicate nuances of brioche and dried fruits derived from its aging. The palate is fresh and harmonious, with good structure, creamy bubbles and a long, balanced finish. A versatile and sophisticated champagne, ideal both as an aperitif and to accompany seafood, fish or light dishes.
