CM Matarromera 2019 is a distinguished wine known for its quality, primarily made from Tempranillo grapes sourced from the selected vineyards in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Rioja. These vineyards range in age from 25 to 80 years and are situated in higher altitudes, giving the grapes unique characteristics. The production is limited, between 3,000 and 5,000 kg per hectare, emphasizing the quality of the final product. Harvesting is done manually, with grapes collected in boxes under 12 kg to ensure their integrity. This wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels, highlighting its organoleptic qualities. It is then aged in 65% French and 35% American oak barrels for 12 months before bottling. The result is a high-intensity wine with a bright cherry color, good structure, great balance, and a long, flavorful finish.
