The 2018 is the first vintage of Cuentaviñas, the personal project of young Eduardo Eguren, son of Marcos Eguren, co-owner and Technical Director of Viñedos y Bodegas Sierra Cantabria. Los Yelsones 2018 is made with Tempranillo from a magnificent vineyard planted in 1970 at high density. It represents the magic of a vineyard in the high zone of San Vicente de la Sonsierra where the most complex character of the fruit is expressed and the yelsones (calcium carbonate blocks) imprint their freshest and most chalky character on the palate.
