Extending south of Gevrey-Chambertin, the Corvée is located in a relatively flat and rich area covering 2.35 hectares with old vines of an average of 54 years. The plot is 27 hectares in size. This foreshadows the exquisiteness of the premiers crus that adjoin it at its southern end. In front of the estate, a road leads to the house that delimits the Corvée de la Brunelle. This boundary marks a clear difference in character. The terroir is quite deep, between 1 and 2 meters.
The wine presents a garnet color with a dark carmine hue, sometimes with black cherry tones. Pronounced aromas of red fruits evoking notes of cherry.
