Fincas de Ganuza Reserva 2016 is a distinctive representation of the Remírez de Ganuza style, one of the emblematic wineries of Rioja Alavesa. The wine is produced using the 'shoulders' of the grape bunch, recognizing its superior quality, and comes from selected vineyards in the Sierra Cantabria. The 2016 vintage is notable for its balance of ripeness, freshness, and structure, regarded as one of the best in recent years in Rioja. This wine evolves for 24 months in French and American oak, preserving fruity expression with increasing complexity. Intense aromas of black cherry, blueberries, blackberry, and sweet spices are complemented by balsamic and mineral notes. On the palate, it offers a silky texture, combining fine tannins with well-integrated aging. It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18 ºC, ideal for pairing with red meats, lamb, stews, mushrooms, and aged cheeses.
