Gran Enemigo Agrelo, a blend made with a majority of Cabernet Franc grapes accompanied by a percentage of Malbec, grown in a vineyard where clay soils predominate, located at 930 meters above sea level, in the town of Agrelo (Mendoza, Argentina), whose spectacular views of the Andes Mountains are capable of leaving anyone speechless.
For the production of Gran Enemigo Agrelo, 5 different harvests are carried out, with a distance of a month and a half between the first and the last one. The grapes are cold macerated for 5 days. The average maceration period is 23 days with 30% of the clusters whole. It is fermented in barrel under controlled average temperature (22 °C/72 °F). The resulting wine is aged for 15 months in 100-year-old foudres.
