Avancia Nobleza Carballedo 2023 is a red wine from the D.O. Valdeorras , produced by the Avancia project of the Jorge Ordóñez Group , which seeks to express the essence of the native varieties and historic vineyards of the area. It is made mainly with Mencía , accompanied by small proportions of traditional varieties such as Garnacha Tintorera and Mouratón , from vineyards located on steep slopes with slate soils that provide mineral character and depth to the wine.

The nose is expressive and elegant , with aromas of ripe red fruit -cherry and cherry- accompanied by floral notes and light spicy touches and well-integrated wood. The palate is balanced, juicy and structured , with soft tannins and a pleasant freshness that lengthens the finish, offering a refined and very accessible style.

This Atlantic red stands out for its elegant profile and its marked terroir identity , the result of vines grown in an environment of high altitude and poor slate soils that favor the aromatic concentration of the grapes.
