Botani 2024 stands out as one of the most emblematic white wines from the Axarquía region of Málaga and has established itself as a benchmark among dry muscat wines in Spain. This wine comes from a pioneering project, innovating by reinterpreting Muscat of Alexandria in a dry version, moving away from the traditional sweetness of the region. It originates from very old vineyards located on steep slopes with gradients of 40 to 70% and an altitude of 600 to 700 meters. These vineyards are traditionally cultivated in a bush shape on slate soils that provide exceptional character and freshness, along with a marked mineral identity. Vinification takes place in stainless steel with strict temperature control, followed by aging on the lees that adds volume and complexity without compromising the aromatic expression of the variety. On the nose, this wine presents an extremely aromatic and seductive profile, with notes of orange blossom, lychee, stone fruits, citrus, and white flowers, all complemented by a fresh and elegant background. On the palate, Botani 2024 shows itself to be dry, fresh, and balanced, with a slightly creamy texture, good acidity, and a long, aromatic, and refreshing finish.
