Las Lamas 2023 is a red wine produced by the prestigious winery Descendientes de J. Palacios in Bierzo, specifically in the Las Lamas area, Corullón. This wine is made from Mencía grapes and small proportions of other traditional varieties from steep slopes with slate soils, contributing to its great minerality and elegance. Fermentation is carried out using native yeasts, and the wine ages for 16 to 17 months in French oak barrels, seeking a perfect balance between structure and terroir expression. On the nose, it presents aromas of ripe black and red fruits, flowers, spices, and mineral notes, indicating great complexity. On the palate, it is deep and silky, with fine tannins, good acidity, and a long, elegant finish.
