Viña de Martín Escolma 2020 is a superior expression of Ribeiro's winemaking legacy developed by influential winemaker Luis Anxo Rodríguez. Made only in extraordinary years, the wine comes from a careful selection of the best plots and oldest vines on the estate. 'Escolma', meaning 'selection', reflects its production philosophy centered on low yields, historical varieties, and extensive aging. Each variety is worked individually, maturing in French oak barrels before a prolonged bottling refinement, resulting in an uncommon complexity among Galician whites. Aromas of ripe citrus, white fruits, peach, fennel, dried flowers, and white spices integrate with mineral notes. On the palate, it is broad and structured, with a creamy texture and vibrant acidity that supports its mature, mineral profile, ending in a long, saline finish.
