The Macán Clásico 2018 is an exceptional wine that comes from the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria, a place steeped in wine tradition. Since its establishment in 2004, the project has focused on the selection and care of 100 hectares of vineyard, and since 2019 has concentrated its efforts on the winery, always striving for excellence in every bottle. This wine is a single-varietal Tempranillo, with grapes cultivated in calcareous soils with a clayey-sandy profile, giving it unique characteristics. The 2018 vintage is particularly significant, known as the most Atlantic vintage, as harvesting took place in October, allowing for a slower and more controlled evolution of the grapes. The result is a wine with a more elegant and fluid profile, where a more subtle extraction has been achieved. During its aging, the use of new barrels has increased by 10%, enhancing the depth and structure of the wine.
